SUMMARY:Taum Sauk Trail Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:We’re heading to Hwy 21 trail head and heading up the OT towards Taum Sauk Mountain doing some tread restoration and maintenance.  This section of trail is in need of tread restoration so we’ll be working on that along with other maintenance issues. \nWhere:  We will meet at 8:30 am at Hwy 21 trail head (Claybough) west of Ironton\, MO. Here is a link to where we are meeting.  https://www.summitpost.org/ozark-trail-from-highway-21/166362 \nWhat:  We will be doing tread restoration involving trail tools. \nNeed to know:  Be sure to wear sturdy boots\, layering clothes as the weather can be weird.  Also bring a backpack to carry your water\, snacks\, your lunch and any thing else you would need on the trail.  We will be enjoying a meal at the end of the day in Ironton/Pilot Knob. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Terry Hawn at thawn@prodigy.net.

DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Due to the loss of our housing for this event\, we’ve had to cancel. Be sure to check the events page for other opportunities coming up. \nLadies! It’s your day and Kathie will be heading up an all-women’s trail event doing trail work. We will be basing out of Current River State Park and if you haven’t stayed there before\, you are in for a treat!
