For those interested in becoming crew leaders – mark your calendars! We will be based out of Current River State Park. Volunteers can arrive on Friday afternoon/evening. Watch for the large green arrow sign at the entrance to CRSP on Hwy 19. Instructional materials will be provided. Saturday am will be classroom and the pm portion will cover tools and maintenance. Sunday will be finalizing maintenance and the will head to the trail to do a walk and talk.
There is limited housing and camping is available on the grounds. Please indicate if you are camping. Facility will have a kitchen and restrooms. Participants need to bring their own bedding, personal care items and food for meals. You will need to bring a backpack to carry water, snacks/lunch, wear sturdy boots, gloves and long pants for the outside portion and equipment portion.
